Coffee, cake, wine, and tarte flambée are available at the Wiesn-Guglhupf on Schaustellerstraße.

What began in 2006 as a small carousel café on Schaustellerstraße has since expanded to include an additional bar with 185 standing spots and an upper level with another 44 seats, and is thus classified as one of the small Oktoberfest tents. Clearly built around shipping containers, the Guglhupf’s aesthetic could probably be described as Alpine industrial. In addition to the eponymous Guglhupf variations, the menu includes hot beverages, mixed drinks, schnapps, wine, and Flammkuchen.

Café Guglhupf was an institution in Munich’s Old Town until 2025. After 48 years, however, the Eisenbarth family closed the business. The Oktoberfest version of the café remains open, however.
