Schützenlisl is Oide Wiesn's folk singer tent.

Schützenlisl is Oide Wiesn's new folk singer tent, which replaced Schönheitskönigin in 2022. The tent's host is Lorenz Stiftl, who ran the small tent Zum Stiftl starting in 2008 and the Winderwald tent starting in 2002.

He has been trying to be promoted to the folk singer tent's host since 2016, which was even too long to keep his Schützenlisl trademark without using it. Quite ironically, he received his new Oktoberfest license just as the brand was gone.

Visually, not a lot was new with the change of name and host. Stiftl acquired the Schönheitskönigin tent from the construction firm that owned and leased it to the Schönheitskönigin's landlords. As Stiftl will take over Winzerer Fähndl in 2026, there might be a chance to see Schönheitskönigin come back.

Ambience and Music Program 2025

The program director is Traudi Siferlinger (Known from the TV show “Wirtshausmusikanten”). She divides the day into two segments, one with different groups and folk singers from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm and the evening band afterwards. The start of the music has thus been moved forward by half an hour. Three times a day, at 12:30 p.m., 3:00 p.m., and 6:30 p.m., Siferlinger will guide a sing along with songs from the tent's song booklet.

In 2025, only three different bands share the evenings. Bast Scho loses two evenings in comparison to 2024 and still has seven, Kapelle Josef Menzl increases from three to eight performances, and the Kaiserschmarrn band will again perform on two evenings.

Due to the large number of artists who also perform in the tent in the afternoon, it is best to look up the program in the program booklet.

The tent still didn't quite live up to the high expectations, as Schönheitkönigin was probably the liveliest tent of the Oktoberfest. Nowhere else could you hear as many people sing along. Still, the tent is significantly more lively than Festzelt Tradition.
