Historic rides are Richard Müller's great passion. Not only is he a founding member of the Historical Society of German Showmen, but he also fulfilled himself a long-cherished wish in 2010: To bring historic bumper cars back on the road. Although there is really no shortage of bumper cars at fairgrounds, according to Müller, there was no longer a historic example in Germany until then.

Thanks to the Oktoberfest novelty 2024, visitors to the Oide Wiesn will be able to ride Corvette, Mercedes and vintage cars from the 60s and 70s for the first time. The building itself was built around 1950 and extensively restored in 2010.
