During the final week of setup, not much is happening with the festival tents anymore, but the fairgrounds are bustling more than ever.

In the twelfth and final week of the 2026 Oktoberfest construction, the tents—at least all except the two new ones—are essentially ready to go. You can already hear band rehearsals coming from some of them. In the fairground area, however, things are much more chaotic. Stalls are being stocked, and there are trucks everywhere. Now, finally, the stragglers from the other folk festivals—which ended on Sunday—are arriving. The Flößerstadl has gotten a bit more decoration, but still looks pretty rough around the edges. Work continues on the new Cocktail Cathedral Bodos. There are now folding seats set up around a few masts. The new attraction, Chaos Pendel, is now in place.
