Over the ten weeks of the Oktoberfest construction 2018, we’ll provide you with regularly new photos.
The construction of the Oktoberfest 2018, its 185th edition, starts ten weeks before the beginning of the festival, which is July 16. Only the Schützen-Festzelt starts its construction one week early due to the restricted available space. This year, the main focus will be on the redecoration of the Schottenhamel-Festhalle and the Winzerer Fähndl. Depending on the construction phase, between 150 and 2000 workers work at the Theresienwiese.
