Chaos Pendel
Swing and propeller-type rides have become very popular over the past few years. 2026 will bring another incarnation back. In 2018, a type of ride made its Oktoberfest debut that will return for the first time in 2026. The arm on which the gondolas of the Chaos Pendel rotate also rotates around another arm, creating a chaotic ride experience characterized by constant changes in acceleration. The passenger carrier of this Oktoberfest returnee is hurled up to 40 meters and 80 kilometers per hour. However, the maximum speed was not fully utilized in 2016 under the operator at that time, which greatly enhanced the riding experience. The changes in acceleration generated by the two arms not only caused a sense of disorientation but also produced surprising feelings of weightlessness. We’re eager to see how it rides in 2026.
