Oide Wiesn will take place in 2024

According to a report in the local newspaper TZ, the Bavarian farmers' association will not be holding its Central Agricultural Festival (Zentrallandwirtschaftsfest, ZLF). The reason for this is a lack of interest from exhibitors, who are essential for the economic viability of the event. Although the ZLF has not been held since 2016 due to the pandemic, it will now be canceled again.

In addition to Festzelt Tradition, Schützenlisl was planned to set up its tent for the first time at ZLF this year. After the cancellation, the city now wants to hold a regular Oide Wiesn in 2024. Of course, time is now running out. We do not yet know whether the real Oktoberfest will take place on the usual scale, i.e. including street 5.
