The reservation forms are closed, but that's not the end of all days.
The reservation forms are closed, but that doesn't mean you need to give up.
Most tents have unpublished their reservation form by now. However, there are still three ways to get a reservation for the Oktoberfest 2022.
1. Reserve directly in the Tent
Due to the pandemic, there were many cancellations this year, and more will come in the next two weeks. Therefore, asking for free slots directly in the tents' offices can be a good idea. You usually find those near the kitchen. Herzkasperlzelt even explicitly offers this opportunity.
2. Last-minute Reservations
At the moment, we only see this extra reservation option with Fischer-Vroni. They have a dedicated reservation form offering slots for the next 24 hours. At the moment, you can reserve for the opening.
3. Our Facebook Group
Our Oktoberfest reservation group on Facebook has almost 12000 members. From past years we know this group works exceptionally well on short notice, as friends most often drop out shortly before a reservation. When you join, please don't forget to scroll down a little. As there are so many posts, even still active offers get pushed down very quickly.
Last but not least, we want to ensure that you know that you don't need a reservation to visit the Oktoberfest and its tents. Most people do it that way. Also, we're expecting it to be relatively calm this year. Just Saturdays will always be a problem if you don't come only to do rides. If you're planning to queue up tomorrow morning, watch our video that displays the chaotic situation in 2019 to learn what to expect.
We're looking forward to the first Oktoberfest after this long break and are hoping that the lack of staff won't affect it too much.
We'll be live on Facebook several times tomorrow and in the following days, and we wish you all a fantastic Oktoberfest!
