Cyber Space
The extreme acceleration of this swing fascinates its riders so much, that there's always a long queue in front of the ride - despite the steep price. Cyber Space was replaced by 2019's new ride Bayerntower. Cyber Space is the name of the tallest swing at the Oktoberfest. The really giant swings are regrettably a thing of the past – the Cyber Space only offers eight seats in its gondola. But the low capacity is not the only thing that causes the long queues in front of the ride. The ride itself is in fact impressive. The almost non-existent counter-weight makes the ride behave like a real swing with high accelerations. Additionally, the gondola can turn around its horizontal axis, causing moments of dis-orientation.
